This was bought in 2001 during a business trip to the USA for use as a grab-and-go 'scope. This small 90mm fork mounted 'scope has superb optics but, apart from the first few months of use, they were seriously let down by the rather poor quality plastic gear trains and temperamental goto software. Some success has been had using it for public outreach purposes when it was combined with the GStar-Ex mono video camera and when just one astronomical object needed to be viewed.
