As a start, this camera was tried out with the SkyWatcher 150 PDS Newtonian, the intention being to replicate the EAA work done by the GStar-Ex3 camera but with a much larger field of view.
More recently it has been moved over to the larger pier-mounted 8 inch Vixen R200SS to see what that combination can deliver while still adhering to the EAA principle of only using unguided short exposures. In due course it will be interesting to experiment with using the camera for more conventional guided longer exposure images. |
